The WhatsApp Auto Lead feature lets you convert new WhatsApp messages into Leads automatically. It saves time, keeps sources consistent, and makes sure leads are assigned and tracked without manual effort.

Configuration Options

  • 1) Enable Auto Lead Capture : Toggle to automatically convert new WhatsApp messages to leads
    • Component : Toggle switch
    • Label : Acquire New Lead Automatically (convert new WhatsApp messages to lead)
    • ON Behavior : System listens for new messages and creates leads using configured rules
    • OFF Behavior : Automation disabled; you can create leads manually only
    • When to use : Great for hands-free, always-on lead intake from chat
  • 2) Lead Status : Default lifecycle stage for new leads
    • Type : Dropdown (Required)
    • Purpose : Sets the default status for all auto-created leads
    • Common Values : New, In Progress, Contacted, Qualified, Closed
    • Why it matters : Helps teams organize and prioritize the pipeline
  • 3) Lead Source : Where the lead came from
    • Type : Text Input (Required)
    • Examples : whatsapp, facebook
    • Marketing : Improves attribution and campaign performance analysis
  • 4) Lead Assigned : Default assignee for new leads
    • Type : Text Input (Optional)
    • Purpose : Auto-assigns the lead to a teammate (e.g., account owner or round-robin)
    • Note : If empty, lead remains unassigned or follows your assignment policy
  • 5) Save Changes : Apply configuration
    • Component : Button
    • Effect : Commits the settings and activates automation based on your choices

Manual Lead Management

  • Manual Lead Management : You still stay in control
    • Edit : Change lead details such as status, notes, or tags
    • Reassign : Move ownership to another teammate at any time
    • Override : Update automated fields for priority cases

Implementation Requirements
